STORM Hill Country Challenge - Omnium
What an excellent weekend of fun and pain. It rained Thursday and Friday and Saturday morning making my plans of participating on all three events of the Omnium doubtful. Once I got to Flat Rock Ranch my competitive impulses where taking over. I dislike riding in mud and getting my bike dirty. It's been dry and the course drains very well. The Gt Mountain Pro wanted to show it abilities on the Short track and time trail events. I registered and was the best decision of the day I made . The Short track event I came in 6 place, time trail in 4th. The cx event was 23 miles of prime Hill Country terrain. Riding the GT MP has giving me so much confident and has camouflage my lack of endurance training. My racing competitors are amassed how easy the MP ride through every rock garden we race. I came in 11 place and finished in 4th in the Omnium results. Monday I went for a recovery ride and my legs felt refreshed. Today I going for a mtb training ride at Mccallister Park, I'm preparing for Double Lake in two weeks. I want to salute my hermanito Rick Vargas in Cayey,P.R.

My first official entry in my blog, I've been in cloud nine ever since the Mountain Pro came to my front door. This past weekend the MP excelled in pure Texas Hill Country terrain. Riding the course was easy understanding how the Independent Drivetrain works. No feedback, climbed like a goat on some nasty ledges, drops and rock garden. Racers and spectators commented how smooth I looked on the MP navigating the course. At the end of the race numerous racers wanted test ride the MP. The MP has brought fun again to riding and racing. GT technology is by far advanced that their competitors. Several peoples had test ride my MP and rave about the ID. This bike utilized every pedal stroke and kept me energized during the whole race.
