This past weekend it was more than a killer bicycle event. GHORBA Big Ring Challenge was the # 2 of the golden bike series. They were 470 racers and over 250 spectator. Vincent Lombardi retained the golden bike, smacking down our local amateur experts. Louis, Paco and Mike Pluto did a fantastic job with the demo experience, wrenching for many racers and with the GT golden race series. It started raining around 0800, one hour before Cat 2 starting time. The trails were muddy and the roots slippery, voiced by the racers at the end of there first lap. The start of the race was up a wet paved road, about 1/4 mile before a 90 degree left into the single track.
